We love house projects.  Well that isn’t 100% right since most of the time we end up doing house projects because something is broken or needs fixed and not because we just want it to look better.  This project was probably needed the day we moved into the house but we never got around to it.  However, this was the year and we were able to enlist some great helpers (Thanks Dad and Aaron!) to get all of the painting done (trim and all) in 3 days.

These first two pictures are before and after ones.  However, in hindsight we didn’t have as many photos as one would think but we purposefully tried to never take pictures with the background of our house in it as we knew it didn’t look great.

You can probably tell from the picture above what another one of our projects is going to be.  Below is some of our helpers hard at work.

One of the last minute changes that was made before we were finished was what color to paint the shutters on the front of the house.  I was hesitant at first and more than likely complained as I just wanted to get it done but I really do like the color that April picked out as it adds a great contrast in color.  Then we also decided to do the front door in the same color.

Below are a couple of pictures we took before we really started the project.  We wanted to make sure we really liked how the color went on so we did some tests in various places around the house.
