Brecken’s New Room

With the new addition on the way we needed to move Brecken downstairs so everyone could still have their own rooms.  We actually would have preferred to have Brecken & Madiana share a room (as I think April would like all the kids close by at nighttime), but little sister isn’t quite ready to have slumber parties every night.  It’s hard for her to “shut down” if other people are in the room, as she insists on hugging, jumping on and play time with anyone in the room.  We decided it was better for everyone to retreat to their own space at the end of each night.

April did a great job cleaning everything up in order to make sure we could move him in the basement.  Also, we couldn’t just move him into a plain white walled room (at least according to April)…. So April made sure to add some very personalized touches to the room as you will see below.  I take no credit for how it turned out except for moving things around as needed.

“Everything in my new room is my favorite.  I really like being able to play with all my Legos in my room by myself. – Brecken”

As you can see what isn’t there to like in this new room… Here are a couple perks:

  • Wild and Super Hero Posters/Pictures on the walls
  • New Pillow cases/bedding thanks to April that has Super Heros and Wild
  • 2x the space than before to ensure he can play hockey in his room (He is a true Minnesotan!)
  • Finally what kid doesn’t want a Gum Ball Machine
