Gretchen has been dabbling in the act of walking for quite a while now but she would continue to default to her “knee walk”.  This actually looked like it would be very painful walking across the floor on your knees, so we weren’t sure why she did this.  Or she would walk some and after falling down would then continue crawling or knee walking to get to her final destination.

However, over this past week/weekend we realized she is making walking her preferred method of moving around.  Also, as you will see in one of the videos below she falls down but then gets right back up to walking where as a couple weeks ago this wouldn’t have happened.

As the third child goes, we didn’t capture her first ever steps on video. I decided at this point to capture some video of this moment even though we don’t have much of her trying to walk from before this point (Sorry Gretchen).
