The kids were really excited for their first Major League Baseball game where the Twins were playing the Indians. We actually stayed for the entire game which I figured wouldn’t happen as sometimes baseball games tend to get long.
They really did a great job at the game and sat in their seats and didn’t run around like some of the other Elementary kids around us. In fact they only had two things to eat the entire game which was some nachos and an applesauce pouch.
As the game went on though the kids started to loose a little interest but at least April packed some paper and crayons for the kids to keep them occupied in-between inning changes.
“I think hockey games are more exciting because baseball players don’t move as much.” – Brecken’s thoughts on watching Baseball
After the game the kids wanted to run the bases so we got to walk down to the field and let the kids run around the bases. Luckily, there wasn’t too many people at the game and we got in line at the right time to be one of the first people out there.
In the end, Madiana was the only one who wanted to run around the bases. She did a really good job and it was fun watching her little legs kick so much as she rounded the bases.
“I want to do that again!!” – Madiana talking about running the bases.
Here are a couple other pictures we took at Target Field but the week before.
