It’s been SO nice here lately, and I’m just so happy that I can finally enjoy good weather.  My first day out, I got a little red and have never been more thrilled about a slight sunburn!  After almost 3 months of seeing nothing more than indoors florescent lighting, I guess it could be expected.  I laid outside in the grass with PJ on Sunday while Eric played ball with Tucker… Slowly, our neighbors started to drift over (anxious to finally figure out the story of the new people on the culd-e-sac, as they probably all figured Eric was either single with two dogs OR he kept his wife chained up in the basement!) and I ended up laying outside for a few hours talking to them.  Eric has been coming in and telling me bits and pieces about all the new neighbors he’s met over the past few months, but I of course couldn’t meet them 🙁  Everyone seems so nice and I’ve already lined up dog sitters, babysitters, dog walkers, and scored an invitation to a neighbor’s pool!!!!  YIPPEE!

Mom is up for the week to help out since Eric is travelling for work.  We’ve had a lot of fun together so far and I’m happy she’s here.  She will take me to my doctor appointment tomorrow and then head back to Iowa, and Eric flies in late tomorrow night.

I’m assuming all will be uneventful at my doctor appointment with hopefully the news coming out of it that I have been granted more movement privelages and will continue to get farther and farther away from the world of bed rest 🙂  My kiddos have their classroom graduation this Thursday and I would love nothing more than to be cleared to go and see their special day!!  We’ll see what the doctor says!
